Name the kitty!!

I need some help bloggy friends! I need a name for
this little kitty. Mr. Wayside found her in the middle
of a very busy road on his way home from work a few
weeks ago and brought her home to the *manor*. I was not too happy with Mr. Wayside at that time
because we were getting ready to leave for Indiana in just a few days and I thought oh great here we
go again.

For those of you who don't know we lost our beloved
cat Izzy a year or so ago. She was a long haired black beauty
with a long haired tail as well and very gentle. She had been
with us since 1999 and she was hit by a car out in front
of our house. Didn't want another cat, kitten or anything
else for that matter since that time, but this little ball of
fur is kinda cute.

She stays outside and seems to like it here at Wayside Manor because she is not leaving! ha!! So it is time to name the little furball. Send me your ideas please and you just
might get something in the mail from moi
if I choose your name. :)

She does not have blue eyes as shown in the first
photo...camera angle or something. :)

It is soooooooo hot today in Michigan that I know I could bake cookies in my car! One of these days
I am going to try that...ha ha!!

Blessings~

"TarBaby" because she is black and because she was found on asphalt. She is a beauty!

Hi Sandi... what a little doll! I thought about " Mademoiselle Tresor", which is French for Treasure, and you love everything French, then you could call her "Tressie"... (kind of like my Tessy!)... or "Gypsy" since she was just traveling around... whatever you name her, she is precious!... xoxo Julie Marie

She's soooo cute. I can't think of anything clever, but there are so many inventive chickies in Bloggyville, I'm sure someone's going to come up with the perfect moniker.

Warm blessings,
Spencer

I used to have a black kitty and her name was "Spooky" or how about "Inky" or "Jet"? She is a darling.

Oh, my! That is one cute kitty! I would have him/her in the house in a minute. Then it would follow me around as I go about my day just like a little 'Shadow'! That is the name I would pick.

Boo, perhaps? VERY cute kitten, but, then again, I am a sucker for 'em and most animals!

She's adorable! My 4-year-old wants to name her Dora or Pebbles haha!

I've had at least 4 or 5 black kitties, all named "Blackie", not very imaginative, but it always worked. please please make her an indoor kitty. The death rate is so high for outside babies. She's just precious and needs to be kept safe and disease free. (sorry for being nosy, it's just a crusade of mine)
She's just adorable, and a blessing from God,
xoxo Debra

Oh just toooo cute! I had fun last year naming our 4 kittens before they were adopted (AND got new names!!)...we had Chloe, Bella, Coco and Raphael. They were so cute, I miss them!
Feel free to use any of these:)

I have to say Ebony sounds good to me, since you have so much white, Ebony and Ivory...

Oh I have to throw in my 2 cents. I've had two Ebony's and an Onyx. But since you found her on your way to Indiana (my home state) how about Hoosier?

I don't know why, but Miss Fiona comes to mind. She is adorable.

How about the French word for midnight Minuit. She sure is a very cute kitty. Good luck with choosing a name.

She is really cute, I hope you decide to make her a inside cat. People are really mean to Black cats. I have 2 black cats they are brother and sister Zoe and Zippy. How about Dorothy Dot, Sophie or Gracie. Whatever you decide I bet it will be nice.

I can't blame your hubby for bringing this cute kitty home, Sandi. How about "Nowhite" ;-)?
Hugs to you,

I had a black half persian kitty and called her Cleopatra (Cleo) for short as she had this regal air about her! Your kitty reminds me of her, so fluffy!

I'm going to steal my daughter's idea and say you should name her ChoCho...or PoPo. And since my daughter is your grand daughter, that should add a little weight :)

I think Chloe would be Puuuuurfect! ♥ If you pick that name, you can just send me some of those car baked cookies. ;)
