Button, button...who's got the button?

I do!

Isn't this button gorgeous?
Do you notice the *S* monogram too?

I had my *birthday* lunch with my best friend
today and did she ever wow me with gifts.
I told her she went overboard, but I do love them all!
I was the recipient of a large white doily and pineapple
pincushion that was her grandmothers.
She also gave me two hankies with monogrammed *S* initials and this gorgeous button.
She had lovingly tucked each item inside a set of clear glass
canisters. I am going to use them to store some of my
vintage goodies such as lace, hankies etc.
Aren't they wonderful ??
Also included were these two pillows!

Thank you so much my dear friend!!
You made my day...
my month...
well actually my year!! :) I will always treasure our friendship !

As if that were not enough she also bought
me lunch at Seasons Bistro
and I had a cranberry turkey panini
that was so yummy!! {along with chips and a pickle spear}

I just have to share the card she gave me too.
It said on the front:
"How can we be getting older?"
then on the inside, "we still don't know what we want to be
when we grow up!"...lol.

I hope each one of you has a dear friend that you can count
on through thick or thin, good times and bad
and if you don't , then that is my wish for you.

Blessings~

Happy Birthday! That is a special friend. I thought the pin cushion that had been her grandmother's was especially nice. She must have known it would be well taken care of with you. Everything was wonderful. It sounds like she knows you well.

She is a good friend, her grandmother's pin cushion, WOW, but then again you must be worth it. I've had to come up with a wonderful Random Act of Kindness and I just can't think of something wonderful, until tonight on the bus. I thought got it. My good friend will too receive something special.

Boo-hoo! I missed your birthday ... sniff, pout!

I am sooooo sorry, Sandi, sweet friend. WOW! you friend gave you some beauties for gifts ... how sweet of her, how lovely for you.

You'd be proud of me today ... I found a bottle (new, not old) & had set it aside. Today I took that bottle & gave her a dressing ... I will send you pics later as I am not done working with her yet. The bottles you sent me, inspired me ... oy!

Hugs of love, you wonderful friend
